He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Stone of Hephzibah; his children, Tammie Furr (Brett Prye) of Augusta, Dawn Jarriel (Larry) of Augusta and John Creech (Kimberly) of Matthews; and his siblings, Terry Stone (Mary), David Dukes (Joanne) of Augusta and Annette Combs of Augusta. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
