He was predeceased by: his son Donnie Butler. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Butler; his children, Jerron Butler (Renee), Rodney Butler (Wanda), James "Junior" Butler III, Gary Singleton (Michelle), Monique Butler-Striggles, Robin Mincey, Jacquelyn Singleton (Tony) and Lisa Singleton-Griffin; and his siblings, Bobby Butler, Clara Mahomes and Catherine Drakes. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (465 GA-56, Waynesboro, GA 30830).
