She was predeceased by : her spouses, Willie James Brown, Sr. and Walter Hanson, Jr.; her children, Willie J. Brown, Leon T. Johnson and Beverly D. Brown; her parents, Grady L. Brown, Sr. and Fannie W. Brown; and her siblings, Grady Brown, Jr., Ralph Brown, Agnes J. "Shirley" Morris and Laverne Iileen White.
She is survived by : her children, Wanda R. Johnson of Gouldsboro, PA, Edwina Brown (Octavia Evans) of Hensley, AR and Erik D. Brown of Augusta, GA; her siblings, Betty J. Duncan of Columbia, SC, Rose M. Wideman of Augusta, GA, Rosa M. Tilton (William) of Martinez, GA, George M. Brown, Lloyd W. Brown and Ronnie C. Brown of Augusta, GA; and her aunt Marie W. Dunbar. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
