She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband William Quarles; her daughter Yalawa Quarles; her grandchildren, Jordan Johnson and Akili Johnson; her great grandchildren, Aveah Johnson and Akili Johnson; and her sisters, Veronica Lawrence, Demetra Atterberry (Willie) and Deidre O'Bryant (Herman). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
