She was predeceased by : her husband Kermit Hugh Lee; her parents, Frankie Wellborn and Olin Wellborn; her siblings, Sarah W. Carmon, Helen W. Owenby, James Rogers and Olin Foster Wellborn Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Lee Crossland, Ilene Laney Terry and Henry Dale Laney; and her grandparents, Tom Rogers, Ali Reid Rogers, Alonzo Wellborn and Caroline Pless Wellborn.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Sue Laney.
