As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Olivia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Pauline Pittman and James Oliver Barber; and her former husband Edward "Red" Franklin Benbow. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Smith; her son-in-law Jeromee Smith; her grandchildren, Libbi Smith and Logan Smith; and her sisters, Sandra Delgado and Glenda Moore.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery (1675 US-76, Hiawassee, GA 30546).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Necessary Closet at Macedonia Baptist Church.
