He was predeceased by : his parents, Grady Williams and Bessie Williams; his son Melvin Stanley "Stan" Williams; and his siblings, Diane Cantrell, Frankie Bandy, Carol Young and Larry Williams.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Williams; his adoptive son Gordon Moore; his sister Joyce Sullivan (Wendell); his grandchildren, Cristal Hix (Scotty) and Erica Young (Phillip); his great grandchildren, Alex Miranda, Kirsten Hix, Savana Lowe and Peyton Hix; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 concerns or state restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the family and the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing be practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Williams safe.
