He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louie Kent, Sr. and Odessa Betts Kent. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kent of Hogansville; his children, Jennifer Singleton (Mathew Singleton) of Gastonia, NC, Faye Koepsell (late Mike Koepsell) of LaGrange, Tammy Bartlett (Mike Bartlett) of Covington, Jeff Kent (Karen Stitcher) of Hogansville and Penny Lyons (Mark Lyons) of Jackson; his sister Bonnie Morgan (James Morgan) of Sierra Vista, AZ; and his niece Terrie Prescott (Fish) of Hogansville. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
