She was predeceased by : her parents, Earnest "Red" Beecher and Beulah Boyd Steedley; her husband Carey Suggs; her son Carey Allen Suggs; her daughter-in-law Kay Suggs; and her siblings, Nellie Beecher, Jeannie Thompson, Reginald Beecher, Clyde Beecher and Bo Beecher.

She is survived by : her children, Betty Hall (Dwight) of Cameron, NC, Nicki Willis Homerville (Everett) and Kevis Suggs; her sister Patricia Thomas; her grandchildren, Kerri Ann (Brandon Wilson), Hope (Chase Moylan), Autumn Grace Willis, Mya Hall, Brianna Hall, Wendy Bartley, Joseph Paulk and Brandon Paulk; and her great grandchildren, Johannah Faith Willis, Ashley Bartley, Josh Brock, Lila Wilson, Bentley Wilson, Kinleigh Ann Moylan and Ella Moylan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
