She was predeceased by: her former husband Glenn Thomas; her parents, John Mize and Kathleen Harris Mize; her son Chip Thomas; and her brothers-in-law, James Rayburn and Arthur Adams.
She is survived by: her son Chris McCulley; and her sisters, Dianne Mize Adams of Hoschton and Donna Mize Rayburn of Commerce, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
