He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie M. Moreland and Marilyn K. Moreland; and his wife Bettye L. Moreland. He is survived by: his children, Kathye Reeves (Leon M., Jr.) of Jackson and Dennis K. Moreland (Jutz); his grandchildren, Madison Moreland and Micah Moreland; and his sibling's children, David Barton (Tara) of Stockbridge, Jason Moreland (Tara), Sherry Morris (Lee) of Newnan and Tamara Dobson (Jason) of McDonough.
