She was predeceased by: her parents, Breece Whitsell and Bessie Whitsell; and her siblings, Audrey Cowart, Evelyn Turner, Eunice Johnson, Clara Mae Matthews, Voncile Moser, Betty Faye Ellis, Joel Whitsell and J. M. Kirby.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Mulkey of Jasper; her son Tom; her daughter-in-law Candice Fowler of Talking Rock; her daughter Jessica Mulkey; her granddaughter Paisley Fowler of Talking Rock; her brother James; her sister-in-law Mattie Whitsell of Marble Hill; her sisters, Shirley Frix of Dawsonville and Martha Sue Whitsell of Jasper; and her nephew Conner Culverhouse of Jasper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS or to Pickens County Animal Rescue.
