She was predeceased by: her father Charles Edward Burgess. She is survived by: her mother Louise Stewart; her husband Charles Shoemaker; her children, Derik Mullinax (Valerie), Chris Shoemaker, Laranda Gienapp (James) and Christina Ellis (Brent); her stepdaughters, Penny Carlisle (Jamie) and Dusty Ortiz; and her brothers, Daniel and Hugh Burgess. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
