It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Thomason of Jasper, Georgia, born in Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee Shepard and Margaret Marie Shepherd Reynolds (James); and her husband Fred Thomason. She is survived by: her children, Jeff, Patti Thomason of Jasper, Jan, Fred Allen of Ellijay, Judy and Brian Pinson of Jasper; her grandchildren, Leeanna Allen of Statesboro, Emily Allen of Ellijay, Samantha, Matthew Dunn of Ball Ground, Sarah Pinson of Jasper and Thomas Pinson of Jasper; her great grandchildren, Madison, Molly and Maggy Dunn; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Kay Shepard of Social Circle. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will accept flowers or donations in her honor may be made to the First Baptist Church of Jasper Preschool at 198 E. Church Street; Jasper, Georgia 30143.
