He was predeceased by: his son Robert Taylor; and his sister Betty Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Taylor of Jasper; his son Carl; his daughter-in-law Laura Taylor of Ballground; his children, Jason Hamby of Jasper, Carla (Danny Ross), Tracey (Jason Timms) and Violet (Brandon Stargel); and his sisters, Brenda (Earl Brooks) and Gail (William Dilbeck). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
