He is survived by: the mother of his children Wanda Smith of Jasper; his children, Paul Looper of Jasper, Daniel Smith of Jasper, John Michael Smith of Jasper, Katie Smith of Jasper and Sarah Smith of Scotland; his brother John Michael; his sister-in-law Anna Smith of Columbus, GA; his sister Susan; and his brother-in-law Charles Williams of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by three Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hugs for Hudson.
