It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Richard Mankin (Jasper, Georgia), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Saul Mankin and Sally Rosen Mankin. He is survived by: his wife Cort D. Mankin; his children, Josephine Page Florence (Jerry) of Morganton, GA and Travis Andrew Carter of Ellijay, GA; his sister-in-law Betsy Lou Browning; and his pets, Muzby, Misha and Chopstix.
