It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine C. Thomason of Jasper, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Childers and Clara Mae Childers; her husband Sam Thomason; her sons, Gary Thomason and Keith Thomason; and her grandchild Tracey Thomason.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Cathy Thomason of Ellijay; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Randall Bruce of Jasper; her daughter Lesa Thomason of Jasper; her grandchildren, Chad Thomason of Jasper, Kimberly (Kevin Baggett), Chris (Sigrid Thomason), Matt Bruce of Jasper, Jessica (Nathan Ledbetter) and Lacey (Chad Jones); her siblings, Regina Dean and Lamar; and her sister-in-law Dot Childers. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
