He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Reed and Mabel Pease; his stepparents, Tommy Pease and Ethel Reed; and his grandson Jeremiah Cagle Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Reed of Jasper; his children, Roy (Janie Reed), Scott (Tammy Reed), Ricky (Gina Reed) and Tina; his son-in-law Rodney Farris of Maryville, LA; and his siblings, Ike Reed of Eugene, OR and Carolyn McNabb of Carlos, LA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
