He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Darwin and Sarah Edna Scott Dale; his wife Margaret Helen Presley Dale of Jasper; his daughter Myra Elizabeth; his son-in-law George Thomas Hopper of Waleska; his grandchildren, Matthew Alexander, Alma Hopper of Adairsville, Brittany Ann, Joshua Williams of Jasper, Stephen Thomas Hopper of Waleska, Lloyd "L. T." and Elizabeth Elswick of Gardners, Pennsylvania; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Remington Elswick of Pennsylvania; his daughter-in-law Deann Dale of Austell; his siblings, Herbert Dale of Morristown, Tennessee, Frances Vazquez of Winston-Salem and Gertrude Taylor of Charlottesville, Virginia.; and his son Aaron Harvey Dale. He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
