She was predeceased by: her former husband H. W. Samples; her husband Leland Charles; her children, Weldon Samples (Peggy), Jane White (O. J.), Jan Popham, Judy Popham (Leroy) and Jimmy Samples; and her son-in-law Johnny Pugh.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Pugh; and her children-in-law, Carl Popham and Ellen Samples. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 37 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
