It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Katherine Holden (Jasper, Georgia), who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son Lamar; her daughter-in-law Ruth Holden of Jasper; her daughters, Linda (Stephen Cantrell) and Lynn (Randall Gilreath); her brother Gene; her sister-in-law Glenda Chapman of Nelson; her sister Gail; her brother-in-law Jackie Jarrett of Nelson; and her sisters, Louise Stokes of Canton and Hazel Stokes of Fort Valley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers, or donations can be made to Nelson Baptist Church or Bethesda Baptist Church in memory of Joan.
