She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Shields; her parents, Virgil Harmon and Daisy Harmon; her brother J. L. Harmon; and her son Sammy Guinn.
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Joanne Chivington of Jasper; her daughter Jennifer Guinn; her sister Janis Miller of Pell City; her sister-in-law Sandy Richardson of California; her grandchildren, Johnathan Chivington, David, Angel Mitchell, Jason Dupree, Deanne Harrison and Kellie Headden; and her great grandchildren, Coby Harrison, Landon Harrison, Kaiden Tilson, Kensly Doran and Aurora Mitchell.
