He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Haynes and Josephine P. Haynes; and his siblings, Mary Jo Haynes Allen, William E. Haynes and Charles D. Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mitchell Haynes; his children, Edward Maurice Haynes and Michelle Haynes Pierce (Stuart Pierce); his grandchildren, William Cassidy Haynes, Lauren Anne Pierce and Kyle Allen Pierce; his brother James H. Haynes (Mary Alice); and his sister-in-law Susan Haynes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
