He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Whitt and Margaret Whitt; and his brothers, Bobby, Danny and Wayne Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Whitt of Jasper; his daughters, Dana (Daniel Alvarez), Shannon (Tim Rutledge), Stephanie Harris of Hudson, FL and Jennifer (Scott Poole); and his grandchildren, Frankie Reynolds, Mollie Poole and Silas Alvarez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143).
