He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Prather; and his son Willie Prather. He is survived by: his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Shirley Prather of Jasper; his daughter Debbie; and his son-in-law Mike Aiken of Jasper. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
