He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cook and Adele Cook; and his siblings, Everett Cook, Loel Cook and Colleen Wofford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Cook of Jasper; his daughter Anita; his son-in-law David Carver of Talking Rock; his brother Bobby Cook of Ellijay; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Makayla Carver of Fairmount, Madison Carver of Talking Rock and Greyson Carver of Talking Rock. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions in Wesley's honor may be made to Free Hope Baptist Church.
