He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sheila Childers Bozeman and Sandra Childers Heath (Tommy Heath). He is survived by: his son Kennie; his children-in-law, Janet Childers of Ball Ground and Hugh Bozeman of Tate; his daughters, Gayle (Arnold Payne) and Charlotte Arnold (Billy Fitzgerald); and his brother J. W. Childers of Jerusalem Community. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
