In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alma Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Alma Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Morton; and her parents, Marvin Dewey Parker and Nettie Parker. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Diaz (Luis), Donna Parker, Deborah Nunez, Marvin Brand Sr. and Charles Brand. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tara Garden Chapel (681 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA 30349).
