He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Phillips and Mary Phillips; his wife Elaine Brock; and his sons, Mark Phillips, Blake Phillips and Brian.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Phillips (Alison) of Fayetteville and Rick Phillips (Lori) of Niceville, FL; and his sister Edith Swint of Rome, GA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
