He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse H. Merrill, Sr. and Addie Merrill; and his wife Elizabeth "Peggy" Merrill. He is survived by: his children, Donna (Richard Perkins), David (Carolyn Merrill), Georgia, Debra Peacock (Carol Fink) and Darren (Jane Merrill). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
