It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carswell Hasty of Jonesboro, Georgia, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Walker and Julia Ruth Hasty; and his brother Brody Hasty. He is survived by: his children, Natalie Atha (Allan), Brandon Hasty (Rasheeda), Suzanne Burgess (Randy) and John Hasty, Jr. (April); his grandchildren, Hayley, Jacob, Brayden, Skylar, Madelyn, Samuel, Caroline, Luke, Emma, Aubrie and Liam; and his siblings, Neil Hasty, Jr. (Peggy) and Nancy Funderburk.
