He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise Allen and Samuel Blalock, Sr.; his former wife Dianne Bond; his wife Anne Sligh of Suches, GA; his sister Emily Gaddis (Marshall); his stepchildren, Chip Buttrill (Terry) of Snellville, GA and David Buttrill (Ginger); and his stepgrandchildren, Robert Buttrill (Bryce) of Norfolk, Becci Malmquist (Alex) of Covington, GA, LauraKate Buttrill of Marietta, GA, Britt Buttrill of Montclair, NJ, Marianna Buttrill of Dacula, GA and Gina Cullen. He was also cherished by step-great-granddaughter and many nieces, nephews, friends.
