She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Pitt and Francis Florene Sorrells Metcalf; her husband Curtis Marvin Savell; her son James Marvin Savell; and her brother James Metcalf.
She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Sue Chapman (Kathy); her grandsons, Gary "Buddy" Patrick Chapman, Kelly O'Brian Chapman and Charles Michael Chapman; her great grandchildren, Alicia, Taylor Chapman, Anna, Sean, Clayton Chapman and Charlotte Chapman; her great great grandchildren, Blakleigh Coria and Houston Coria; and her sisters, Katherine Singletary, Nell Williams, Patsy Metcalf, Hattie Jackola and Martha Cox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
