It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy N. Dean (Kennesaw, Georgia), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Naab and Norma Naab; and her sister Marjorie Bolen. She is survived by : her children, Nancy Dean Milton (Steve) and Walter Franklin Dean; her grandchildren, Nicole Underwood (Matthew), Jeffrey Milton (Erin), Christopher Dean, Michael Dean (Amanda), Sarah Dean and Elliot Dean (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Emma and Abby Underwood; and her grandchildren, Ellie, Gracie, Bennett Milton, Cooper and Eli Dean.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. Dorothy also enjoyed reading her morning paper, working crossword puzzles, doing cross stitch, and during the Covid quarantine, she became quite the poem writer. Since she couldn't get out and purchase cards for birthdays, due to restrictions related to Covid, her poems would become part of the eloquently homemade cards for her family & friends birthdays.
