He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Allen Lawler and Louise Lawler; his son David Alan Lawler; his brother Mark Lawler; and his nephew Dusty Lawler.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Lawler; his daughter Deana Thompson (Henry); his grandchildren, Jonathan Lawler (Ashley), Josh Lawler (Lindsey), Derk Lawler, Cameron Lawler, Aaron Lawler (Stephanie), Cody Lawler (Tanya), Ethan Thompson (Kat), Rachel Thompson, Katie Thompson and Seth Thompson; and his brothers, Allen Lawler (Cindy), Butch Lawler (Pat) and Barrett Lawler (Rhonda). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (1928 High Point Rd, Bowdon, GA 30108).
