He was predeceased by: his father Carl Daniel Lee. He is survived by: his mother Vivian Lee; his wife Joyce Furgerson Lee; his daughter Mary Lee Binion (Will Binion); his grandchildren, Ansley Watts and Lance Binion; his sister Susan Renee; his father-in-law Kenneth Furgerson; and his sibling's children, Heather Ann Palmore and Jeremy Steven Whatley. He is also survived by numerous friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society, 1390 Orchard Hill Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
