He is survived by: his wife Ruth Turner Whitley; his children, Freddie Whitley of LaGrange, Mark Whitley (Kristy) of LaGrange, Gloria Duniphin of LaGrange and Jenny Ledford (Phillip) of LaGrange; and his sister Mildred Dockery of Columbus. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
