She is survived by: her children, Mirian Hutchinson and Ranem Ferrell; her mother Irene Haynes Ferrell; her siblings, Geneva Ferrell, Linda Ferrell Goss, Barbara Ferrell, James "Bill" Ferrell, Larry "Boosie" Ferrell (Dorothy), Joseph "Turk" Ferrell (Silvia) and Edward Booker; her friends, Sara Ann Kennedy, Maxine McGhee and Mamie Kennedy; and also Alayshia Owens. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special cousins.
