With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Rebecca Brannan Herrington (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Randolph, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2018 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carey Brannan and Lydia Erin Mickle Brannan; and her husband Alfred Harold "Hal" Herrington. She is survived by: her daughter Carol H. Pate (David); her grandchildren, Joshua Pate (Katie), Stephen Pate (Sarah), Rachel Bill (Daniel), John Pate (Abbie), Melissa Ruley (Dwight), Jennifer Pate and Brian Pate (Christa); and also John Pate. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
