With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Kirby Hammock Pitts of LaGrange, Georgia, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, B. C. Moore and Pearl Rogers Moore; her husband George Harold Pitts; her son Donald Edward "Donnie" Kirby; and her brothers, Hubert Moore, Bobby Moore and Jerry Wayne Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Kirby Lynch (Richard) and Roger D. Kirby (Judy); and her siblings, Cleveland Moore (Pat), James Moore, Arnold Moore (Wanda), David Moore (Diane), Eula Mae Williamson, Debra Thompson (Jim) and Frances Moore. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the WellStar West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, 30240.
