She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Swanson; and her granddaughter Angela Woodson. She is survived by: her daughter Joan; and her grandchildren, Phyllis Woodson, Allison, Nate Strickland, LeAnn and Chris Squier. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
