She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Kate; her sons, Columbus, James Ross Gurley and Frank Omar Gurley (Cynthia); her siblings, Ellen Ross Jennings, Fred Alford (Deena), Tom Alford (Phyllis) and Larry Nichols; her granddaughters, Alicia Ortiz McGlamory (Gary) and Lindsey Gurley Power (Brett); her great grandchildren, Alex Drew Owens, Weldon Lee McGlamory, Harper Ann Power and Hadley Elizabeth Power; her siblings' children, Tami Alford Sani, Tonya Alford, Ed Alford, Kelly Alford, Leslie Jennings, Roslyn Jennings, Patti Alford and Jan Alford; and her brother George Robert Alford (Jo).
