She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest DeVaughn and Laura Martin DeVaughn; her husband Harvey Moore; her former husband James Crews; her son Leonard Moore; her stepsons, Jimmy Moore and Buddy Moore; her siblings, Robert DeVaughn and Elsie Bailey; her stepgrandchildren, Lori Parmer, Tiffany Alverson and Keith Moore; and her nephew Richard DeVaughn.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, J. W. Maxwell (Jay), Jason Twilley and DeDe King; her niece Wynona Smith; her daughter-in-law Jewell Moore; and her close friend Mindylene Banks. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
