She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Smith and Ada Mae Hines Smith; her husband Albert Ferrell Stephens; and her children, Rhonda Burdette and Earnest Ray "Dodie" Duke, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Griffin (Tommy) and Ann King (Stephen); her grandchildren, Jordan Andrews (Anna), Jeremy Andrews and Haley Egesdahl (Brian); and her great grandchild Greyson Egesdahl.
