It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Cook Moore (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Cook and Alberta Cook; her husband Willie, Sr.; her sons, Tommy Moore, Johnny Moore, Alfonzo Moore and Jerry Lee Moore; her grandson Antonio Davis; her siblings, Grover Lee Cook, Willie James Cook, Pauline Robinson, Bertha Stargill and Mable Berry; and her siblings-in-law, Jeannette Tucker, Annie Hutchinson, Johnnie Kate Moore Dillard, Corrine Moore, Mattie Cook, Pete Moore, Ernest Moore, Jack Cameron, Robert Robinson, Jesse Tucker and Jessie Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her children, Yulander Shosan (Dada Shina), Willie Sam Moore, Jr., Ricky Lee Moore, Jeffrey Paul Moore (Shant Anthony) and David Germaine Moore; her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Moore and Sonya Moore; her sister Dora Lee Cameron; and her sisters-in-law, Beatrice Moore and Katherine Cook. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
