With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Smith Anderson Martin (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, James C. Anderson and O. D. Martin; her stepmother Anne Smith; her son-in-law James Ray Hancock; and her great grandchild Ethan Anderson Moone.

She is survived by: her children, Delane Knight (Ricky), Susan Hancock of Charleston, SC, Teresa Bain and Kelly Anderson (Della); her stepdaughter Jan Martin Lockerbie (Brian); her grandchildren, Eddie Moone (LaLani), Ben Moone (Michelle), Mandy Knight Smith, Jennifer Knight, Catherine Garman (Brett), Christopher Bain, Daphney Bain, Kenneth Bain, Austin Bain, Brian Anderson and Abbie Anderson; her stepgrandchildren, David Lockerbie and Lauren Lockerbie Hill (Danny); her brother Raymond Smith (Leila); her stepsister Tina Carden of Columbus, GA; and her sister-in-law Ednalen Anderson of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
