It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Holliday (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Turner and Elizabeth Turner; her husband John William Holliday; her siblings, Janet Turner Stransky and Robert Parry Turner; and her niece Beth Stransky Feris.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Kendall, Julianne Skipper (Billy), Lewis Powell, IV, Lauren Powell, Lindsey Kontovich (Patrick), Elizabeth Sheehan (Adam), Chandler Knowles (Patrick) and Daniel Lee; and her great grandchildren, Blade Kendall, Holliday (Holly), Susannah Lynn, Benton, Nora Kontovich, Chandler and Charlotte Sheehan. She is also survived by her four children.
