She was predeceased by: her husband Melton E. Kirby. She is survived by: her brother Roger R. Chase (Martha) of Wilmington, NC; her children, Ronald Kirby of Savannah, GA, Sue Brown (Teddy) of LaGrange, GA and Tracy Salas (Jesse) of Snellville, GA; and her grandchildren, Matt Brown (Katie), Brian Kirby (Jordona), Kim Bragg (Travis), Jared Brown (Laura), Susanna Brown, Abbey Salas and Alec Salas. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; loving caregivers, Betty O'Neal Duffee and Mary Woodard; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church Building fund in memory of Myrtie Jo Kirby.
