He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Belle Burts Taylor of LaGrange, GA, Mary Joyce Burts of LaGrange, GA and John Amos Burts (Minnie); his siblings' children, Christopher Taylor, Richelle Gilbert (James), Carol Taylor Akotey and Valerie Taylor; his great-nephews, Reggie Gilbert of Panama City, FL, Elijah Akotey and Riley Martin of LaGrange, GA; his aunt Aggie LaRue; and his uncles, Amos Burts (Pauline), Andrew Burts and David Burts (Bessie). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
